Overview
The Boys Only Training Camp held from the 6th to 11th of July 2025 was a highly successful and productive week of focused water skiing development. We were fortunate to enjoy excellent weather throughout the camp, which greatly enhanced the training experience and allowed for consistent time on the water.
Training Structure
Each participant completed three full sets per day, allowing for substantial skill development and repetition. On several days, training was followed by recreational tube rides, adding a fun and rewarding end to the day’s hard work.
Disciplines Covered
The primary focus during the camp was on:
Slalom
Tricks
Jump
Slalom received particular attention, with dedicated sessions to help participants improve their technique, consistency, and confidence. Several campers successfully navigated the outer slalom course with gates, marking a significant milestone in their development.
Progress & Development
Participants demonstrated great progress across disciplines. Technique, confidence, and control improved notably over the course of the week. The structured repetition and feedback allowed each skier to focus on specific areas for improvement while building on their existing skills.
Technology & Video Analysis
We introduced and made full use of the new live TV equipment, giving each participant the opportunity to record and review their sets. This video analysis played a key role in technical feedback sessions, allowing skiers to visually assess their form and make targeted adjustments. By the end of the camp, all participants were comfortable using the system and understood how to maximize its benefit for their training.
Summary
The camp was an overwhelming success, combining structured training, skill development, and team camaraderie. Each skier left with measurable progress, a better understanding of their disciplines, and new tools for continued improvement. The combination of consistent weather, focused coaching, and modern training technology made this an exceptional camp for everyone involved.
