2025 IRISH WATERSKI NATIONALS

Waterski Nationals at Cork Powerboat & Waterski Club

The 2025 Irish Nationals took place on the weekend of the 11th-13th July in Dripsey, Cork

The 2025 Irish Waterski Nationals took place over the weekend of July 11th–13th at the Cork Power Boat and Waterski Club, and it was a fantastic success! With a great turnout, excellent skiing, and vibrant atmosphere, the event highlighted the growing enthusiasm for the sport across all disciplines.

Participation Highlights:

  • Slalom: 19 competitors

  • Trick: 12 competitors

  • Jump: 6 competitors

It was especially exciting to see several participants from our recent training camp stepping up to compete in the Trick and Jump events—some for the very first time. Their performances were a testament to the value of grassroots development and coaching efforts within the community.

Weather & Conditions:
The weather across the weekend was mostly lovely, with sunshine and warm temperatures making for a welcoming environment. A light but sometimes challenging wind added an extra element to the competition, particularly during some of the afternoon sessions. Nonetheless, spirits remained high, and the camaraderie on and off the water was evident throughout.

We’d like to extend a massive thank you to all the skiers, judges, boat drivers, volunteers, and supporters who made this event a memorable one. We look forward to building on this momentum and seeing even more entries next year!
