Girls, Girls, Girls!

For the 1st time at Meteor, and possibly at any IrWWF competition, there were more girls and

women than men competing. Females competed in all 3 divisions of slalom, and 7 girls well

out numbered the sole man in tricks. Good conditions, good results, good craic and a great

foundation for the future of the sport to see so many girls competing. All of the new

technology with live coverage relayed to a screen in the clubhouse, really added to the event

and kept those on shore fully involved and informed.
