2021 sees the induction into the IWWF Hall of Fame of our very own Des Burke-Kennedy aka DBK!

Des has dedicated his life to promoting and growing the Sport from the Early days in the Irish Federation to his more recent role in the World Federation. Des has been at the forefront of so many initiatives and events. The World Cup springs to mind where he was behind the Mic commentating and also behind the lens sharing so many fabulous Photographs.

It is a proud day for the Irish Federation and more so for Des, his love of the sport never wained and his dedication both Nationally and Internationally is to be admired.

Des, well done, we are very proud of you.
