About Us

Welcome to Cork Powerboat & Waterski Club. Home of 25 time Irish National Waterski Champion Barry Galvin. Situated about half hour drive from Cork City or twenty minutes from Blarney. We are based on the River Lee in the beautiful Lee Valley.

Whether it is your first time or you already have the “know how” you will enjoy and benefit from your time with us. If it is your first time all you need is an appointment, your swim gear and a towel. We will provide you with a wetsuit (not during COVID) if you don’t have one (hire is included in the price of the lesson), also we will provide you with skis or a wakeboard and a buoyancy aid (also included).

We recommend that if you have your own gear to bring this with you as this is what you will be using at home. We also have an onsite changing facility with showers (not during COVID) and sauna and the use of these facilities is also included in the price.

We are wheelchair friendly and we have trained world disabled champions. Children are very welcome but must be accompanied by an adult and must wear personal floatation devices at all times. We provide lessons from 4 years and older. We are very family orientated and we have many families who return year after year for their annual waterskiing holiday.
